Polypipe are pleased to announce our first major contract supply for Pre-Fabricated Solutions into the Mining Sector.

Polypipe International have successfully secured a major new contract to supply a gold mine in Guinea with pre-fabricated Inspection Chambers. The contractor chose Polypipe to enable them to reduce construction times and delays, and remove the need for installing using in-situ concrete and the formwork required in concrete systems.

Polypipe have been working in the mining sector for some time to demonstrate the commercial and logistics advantages in using Pre-Fabricated Civil Engineering solutions for both Pressure and Non-Pressure Pipe systems in remote mine locations. The Polypipe “plug in and play” approach has attracted a great deal of interest in the sector – in particular for remote mine locations with a shortage of local skilled labour and limited readymixed concrete availability.
