A twinwall road drainage system – Ridgidrain supplied by Polypipe has been installed at the first phase of the $10 million Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Park in the Free Zone Enclave in Tema, Ghana.
The 50 acre ICT Park is expected to stimulate technology growth and knowledge-based businesses locally. The first phase of the project comprising of 22 acres of a well laid out technology infrastructure started in 2012 and, when completed, will provide business support services for export-oriented small and medium ICT businesses to optimise their potential.
To help manage surface water catchment and road drainage in the ICT Park, constructors of the project, Ghana-based Berock Ventures Ltd, selected the UK’s leading manufacturer and major international supplier of plastic piping systems, Polypipe, who supplied a well proven Ridgidrain twinwall drainage system.
