Our business model
Creating the competitive advantage
The core brand values that underpin our business model are based on a detailed understanding of the needs of our customers and key market drivers. These are deployed strategically throughout each and every project we undertake.
At Polypipe we seek to deliver constant improvements in construction-industry best practice by leading the way in product research and innovation, employing and retaining some of the most respected experts in the field and delivering the highest standards of customer service, value, reliability and sustainability.
Smarter thinking better solutions
We have an unmatched commitment to innovative solutions that improve upon traditional methods and materials. Our UKAS accredited Berry and Hayward laboratory develops and tests new materials and products 24 hours a day. This ensures they represent the best possible solution and significantly reduces the time it takes to bring new products to market.
Pioneering a number of industry firsts, we’re recognised as a world leader in the design and manufacture of plastic piping and low-energy ventilation products, both in the UK and internationally.
We believe in not only acting on customer requirements, but also being proactive with project demands and being ahead of all changes in legislation to deliver the very highest quality for our customers in manufacturing, materials, service and supply.

Reliability If there's a problem we can find the solution and, more often, it's a bespoke solution engineered for the project. Customers can rely on us to always be proactive and provide the high quality systems and responsive support they need to stay ahead of changing legislation and compete in complex markets.
Testing and certification This is an industry where compliance and certification are fundamental requirements. Wherever possible, our products are covered by third party accreditations, including BBA, BSI Kitemark, WRc and Network Rail Parts, Exor, Constructionline, Contractor Health and Safety Association Scheme and Drawing Systems (PADS) approval.
Our business systems are regularly assessed by BSI to ensure we maintain our high standards through ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001 and ISO18001 certification.
Comprehensive support We work closely with our customers to guide them through current legislation and complex building regulations. We also assist in selecting the right product ranges to meet individual project requirements and help to develop fully engineered solutions for more challenging projects, from design right through to installation.
High calibre people The knowledge and experience of our people enables us to offer unparalleled customer service to ensure our customers’ projects receive the best possible solution. Our team includes fully qualified design engineers from many disciplines, who offer detailed specification guidance and we also employ both fabrication and installation specialists.
Industry leaders To ensure quality across our wide range of solutions, we work closely with industry drivers such as DEFRA, CIRIA and Constructing Excellence. We are also members of influential bodies such as the British Plastics Federation, BSRIA, BSI, HEVAC, FMA and the Construction Products Association.
Sustainability Plastics are light in weight and inherently more sustainable than many legacy materials, reducing greenhouse gas emissions during transportation and on site. We use recycled materials when appropriate, send zero waste to landfill, most of our products are 100% recyclable and our advanced systems help to enhance the environment with technologies providing water management solutions and minimising carbon emissions.
Health and Safety Polypipe meets, and strives to exceed, the changing regulations governing our operations and products.
